WordPress Introduces WP.ME URL Shortener
WordPress has just launched WP.ME short URL for blog posts (I guess mainly for twitter) & this seems to be a major rival for bit.ly short URL redirector.
Whats more interesting is the fact that
- WP.me is the only two letter .me domain in the world.
- Every blog and post on wordpress.com has wp.me URL
- It doesn’t work for other URL’s around the world. It supports only wordpress blogs.
- wp.me is spam free, as they say to be constantly monitoring the system with this spam issue.
All in favor of Micro blogging. In other words, seedhi baat …no bakwas! (straight talk without BS)
