Google has changed its algorithms slightly to remove useless content from search results. While this move may annoy many Content farms or Content writers, its a move in the positive direction. Often these companies / individuals take up the posts from an article & rewrite it to make it their own original article. And you noticed previously that this was used as a tactic by Internet marketers to top the search engine results. However, this is the beginning of the end to these farms. Google says it is to provide quality, refined & precise search results to the visitors and they are right. It does avoid lot of spam / lesser quality websites that we see often when we search for something else.

Though many content firms would be very unhappy with this move, its a positive way to eliminate spam in search results. It has become a fashion for people to write more for the search engines and less for the viewers. It’s high time Google had to make some decision with regards to this so that not every tom, dick & harry can top the search results with just a few content marketing strategies. General searchers would be very happy to see quality sites & precise results. However, I know many of the web masters, content marketers & the web companies would be bit disappointed as this has been their major source of revenue.

Content is King…Well, think again! Content is King only if you are a Content King!
