Worried that your desktop icons are missing in Windows 7?
Last 2 days, my desktop showed just the wall paper and the desktop icons were missing from my Windows 7 OS. For a В moment, I thought there is definitely some virus on my PC. I scanned all through the system with two different antivirus softwares but, nothing was found. My System was fine!
Then, I tried to search in Google to find out if anyone else has the same problem. I found there are many people like me. Different blogs offered different solutions, some scared me saying different things.
But, finally I found the fix to my problem. Desktop icons were missing from my Windows 7 just because..
- Show Desktop Icons were unchecked / got unchecked accidently.
So, if you guys have the problem like your desktop isn’t showing any icons. Don’t be scared so much & don’t waste so much time like reinstalling your Windows 7. It’s a pretty simple problem. Just right click on your desktop, click view & make sure that “Show desktop icons” is checked.
If that doesn’t solve your problem, unfortunately you have to keep searching & if possible, come over to my blog and write down in the comment section for others
